Biography: Sean has always wanted to act. He lived with his parents in a small area of Glasgow called Maryhill. At age 7, he joined the Maryhill Youth Theatre. By the age of 10, he was committed to acting. He auditioned for MacBeth, and ended up working for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Then Sean joined the Scottish Youth Theatre (SYT) at the age of 11. He spent six years with the SYT. He was at the SYT when he was chosed for a role in The Winter Guest, directed by Alan Rickman. He was chosen alongside a boy named Douglas Murphy. In 1999, he asked Alan Rickman if he knew an agent who would represent him, and Alan hooked him up with Paul Lyon-Maris, his own agent at ICM. A week later, Sean successfully auditioned for Harry Potter.
